BOBBI is our new collection of small sculptural tables built around irregular cast-concrete forms, hand-finished surfaces and different approaches to colour, texture and material.
The collection explores what can be achieved with concrete at a smaller scale, combining a strong sculptural presence with a construction designed to make these forms lighter and more practical to handle.
At the centre of each design is an irregular concrete base that curves into an open loop. The form feels solid and grounded while remaining visually open. The tabletops surface and finish varies across the collection, from smooth cast concrete to hand-shaped indentations, exposed aggregate and combinations with other materials.

A lighter approach to concrete
One of the defining features of BOBBI is the construction of its base. Rather than producing the entire form from solid concrete, NEDEVDESIGN developed its own concrete composite specifically for this type of construction.
A lightweight foam core is encased in a thin, high-strength, fibre-reinforced concrete shell made primarily from cement and sand. This significantly reduces the weight compared with a solid concrete base while retaining the strength, tactile quality and distinctive appearance of concrete.
This construction allows us to create substantial sculptural forms without the weight normally associated with solid concrete.

Different surfaces, colours and finishes
Each BOBBI variation explores concrete in a slightly different way.
Some pieces use a smooth, solid-cast tabletop where the colour and natural character of the concrete become the focus. Others introduce hand-shaped indentations into the surface, creating lines and changes in depth that bring movement to an otherwise solid form.
Another variation uses exposed aggregate to create a terrazzo-like surface, allowing the natural texture and composition of the concrete to become part of the design rather than being hidden beneath a uniform finish.

The collection also includes versions that combine concrete with translucent resin. In these pieces, the resin introduces another layer of colour and depth, contrasting with the solid, tactile character of the concrete. The combinations can range from subtle pairings, such as white concrete with light teal resin, to much stronger colour contrasts.
One particular variation takes this material relationship further with a monolithic form in which the smooth tabletop flows into the hand-shaped base. Here, the resin continues uninterrupted through the centre of the piece, creating a continuous visual connection between the different parts of the table.

Made by hand, made to order
Although the BOBBI designs share the same underlying form and construction, each piece is individually made. Concrete colour, surface treatment and, where applicable, resin colour can be developed in different combinations, allowing the tables to be adapted to individual interiors and projects.
BOBBI brings together sculptural design, material experimentation and NEDEVDESIGN's concrete manufacturing experience in a functional object. Rather than treating concrete as a single uniform material, the collection explores its different possibilities through form, texture, colour and finish.
