NEDEVDESIGN began over ten years ago in the United Kingdom with a fascination for a material that was rarely associated with refined interiors.
We saw something different in concrete. Not just its strength, but its honesty. Its quiet character. The way it responds to light, records the passage of time, and allows every piece to carry the subtle marks of the process that created it.
What began as an exploration has become years of research, experimentation and craftsmanship. Every mould we've built, every mix we've refined and every finish we've developed has been driven by the same question: how far can concrete go?
Today, we continue that work from our European workshop, designing and handcrafting concrete sinks, countertops, furniture, wall panels and even concrete art pieces for residential and commercial projects across Europe and beyond.
A Decade of Learning
Concrete is often misunderstood.
To many, it is simply a construction material. To us, it is one of the most expressive materials available.
Over the last decade we've dedicated ourselves to understanding it; how it behaves, how it cures, how it ages, and how it can be refined into objects that are both practical and beautiful.
That journey has led us to develop our own casting methods, mould-making techniques and sealing system, allowing us to create pieces that are thinner, lighter and more refined while remaining exceptionally durable.
Even now, we continue to experiment, test and improve. Every project teaches us something new.
Collections and Bespoke Design
Over the years we've developed a growing collection of concrete sinks and basins, each designed to solve real design challenges while showcasing what we can achieve with concrete.
These collections are the result of years of refinement. Their proportions, details and construction have been carefully considered, making them suitable for a wide variety of residential and commercial interiors.
At the same time, concrete offers an unusual degree of flexibility. Because every piece is cast to order, existing designs can often be adapted, or entirely new pieces developed, to suit the specific requirements of a project.
Whether choosing from one of our collections or creating something entirely bespoke, every piece is made with the same care and attention.
Crafted by Hand
Every project begins with a conversation.
Sometimes it's about selecting the right design from our collection. Other times it's about creating something that has never existed before. Either way, our role is to understand the project and create a piece that feels completely at home within it.
Each mould is carefully designed and built before the concrete is cast by hand. From there, every piece is allowed to cure naturally before being meticulously finished, polished and sealed.
We believe these stages deserve time. They cannot be rushed, and neither can the craftsmanship behind them.
Designed to Last
Our work isn't driven by trends.
We're interested in creating pieces with longevity - objects that feel as relevant years from now as they do the day they're installed.
Concrete continues to mature long after it leaves the workshop. It gains strength, develops character and becomes part of the life of the space it occupies.
We believe that is one of its greatest qualities.
